Chettle House
Film Location

Chettle House is a popular film location having played host to several period and contemporary dramas.

Most recently, Chettle House was William Wilberforce’s London home in the film ‘Amazing Grace’ about the abolition of the slave trade and it has served as a location for several film adaptions of Rosalind Pilcher novels. In addition, Chettle House is a popular venue for commercial filming and photography, including advertisements and product launches.

Chettle House has a number of spacious, naturally lit rooms, each given its own character by the elaborate plasterwork, panelling and furniture. From the impressive Entrance Hall through the magnificent oak panelled Drawing Room, the house offers a series of historic, opulent and authentic backdrops.
